The majority of teen respondents (90%) prefer to plan their own vacations (or with the help of their families) over the 10% who go to travel agencies.
HOLIDAY MATES
98% of teens love to holiday with family and friends, while just a meagre 2% are of the adventurous kind, preferring to strike out on their own
PERFECT HOLIDAY DESTINATION
Our readers are definitely not the 'stay at home and do nothing kind' (well, except for the 1% minority); the clear winner is the hill station 37%, followed by the beach 17%, water park 13%, family/friend's place 10%, resort 9%, cruise 8%, campsite 6%
HOLIDAY FUN
Shopping (75%) while on holiday remains the favourite thing to do with some bookworms catching up on their summer reading (25%) as well. No takers for long walks or sightseeing.
HOLIDAY FARE
In true teen style, 49% of our readers will eat just about anything! 29% however will try out local cuisine native to the place their holidaying in; while 22% prefer their usual junk food.
