Losing a friend
When dreams shatter,
Tears roll down.
When nothing can make you happy,
Not even a clown.
When you are sitting under the lights,
But still darkness surrounds you,
You are standing in a crowd
But loneliness is around you.
You have abundance of everything
But still you are missing something.
You try to achieve success
But you just get nothing
You are free.
But you feel you are tied with chains
You are relieved
But still there is some pain,
This means you have lost a friend.

Room
Open the door please
I am the one who loves you
As much as you love
The rhythm of your heart,
Or much more than you care
For the veins of your kins.
I know, inside the room are
Your parents, brother, sister, etc.
Still open, don’t worry!
I shall hide myself in some corner.
I swear, none will know my presence
Or I shall injure none
Even if I am undone.
From this moment onwards
I shall spend my entire life
In this heart-room of yours.

Mothers
One day I was walking alone
Walking towards the horizon,
Towards victory.
I looked back to find no one, except a woman
I couldn’t see her but I saw her blunt smile and felt her heavy heart
I continued my journey and reached closer to my goal
I suddenly looked back to see the same lady waving at me with a smile
But with a heavier heart than ever
I moved on and kissed victory
I found the same woman embracing me,
Hugging me and urging me to go ahead
It was no one else other than my Mother
To all Mothers, thank you for the pain and love you have shown for all!
