Metallica's first attempt at a love song, it's an unabashedly romantic salute to finding your soulmate.

4. Heaven
A power ballad from Bryan Adams in which he speaks his heart out and makes that special love know he means right.


5. All Out Of Love
Air Supply's timeless ballad about longing for a love lost and waiting to be back together.

Hindi Love Songs

1. Kabootar Jaa Jaa
The heavenly voice of the great Lata Mangeshkar makes this love song unforgettable.

2. Nazar Ke Saamne
Kumar Sanu and Anuradha Paudwal croon beautifully on this love ballad in Rahul Roy and Anu Agarwal's first tryst with the silver screen.

3. Pehla Nasha
This Aamir Khan movie excelled not only for the superb acting but for the beautiful music. If you have to sing a song to your loved one, try this one.

4. Ho Gaya Hai Tujko To Pyaar
Coming midway through this Shah Rukh-Kajol starrer, this Lata Mangeshkar-Udit Narayan song just sweeps you off your feet.

5. Teri Ore
One of the slower songs in this romantic comedy with vocals by Rahet Fateh Ali Khan and Shreya Ghoshal.

English Movies

1. Titanic
Poor Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio) falls in love with rich, unhappy and engaged Rose (Kate Winslet) aboard the Titanic. The ship hits an iceberg and the rest is history. Memorable scenes include Jack at the stern of the ship shouting, "I'm The King of The World!"

2. Ghost
A different kind of love story, in that the best parts take place after one of the main characters dies. The interaction between the two leads (Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore) is intoxicating, showing just how strong love can be.

3. The Notebook
A film that reinvigorates the belief that love is worth living and dying for. Allie (Rachel McAdams) and Noah (Ryan Gosling) fall in love. But, Allie's rich family doesn't approve of poor Noah and forces them apart. A story about vows and love.

4. Pretty Woman
In a 'Cinderella' story, LA corporate raider (Richard Gere) hires down-on-her-luck Vivian (Julia Roberts) to pose as his girlfriend for a week and unwittingly falls in love with her.

5. Romeo + Juliet
Shakespeare's immortal tale of star-crossed lovers gets a re-work with Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes as the doomed teenaged children of rival industrialists. Visually stunning with a wonderful soundtrack, this is a not-to-be missed flick.

Hindi Movies

1. Bobby
A love story between two teenagers, Raj (Rishi Kapoor), a big businessman's son and Bobby, a fisherman's daughter (Dimple Kapadia). The usual love angle erupts with the parents not in favour of the match.

2. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai
Tina (Rani Mukherjee) enters the lives of Rahul (Shah Rukh Khan) and his friends. To Anjali (Kajol) she is just part of their clique but to Rahul she is a lot more. Kajol is brilliant as a tomboyish collegiate who transforms into a mature woman. A love triangle with genuine heart.

3. Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam
NRI Sameer (Salman Khan) and Nandini (Aishwarya Rai), a girl from a traditional Gujarati family fall in love, but Nandini is engaged to Vanraj (Ajay Devgan). After searching for her true love she prefers someone else.

4. Dil Se
Megha (Manisha Koirala) is a suicide bomber and Amar (Shah Rukh Khan) an intrigued journalist who falls in love with her. Megha tries all she can to reject him, but he persists. A tragic love story with a bitter ending. But between all this there are stirring song and dance sequences including the very memorable Chaiya Chaiya on top of a train.

5. Kaho Na Pyaar Hai
Struggling singer Rohit (Hrithik Roshan) and Sonia (Amisha Patel) fall in love through a variety of interesting situations. Tragedy erupts when villains kill Rohit after he witnesses a murder. A heartbroken Sonia goes to New Zealand where she meets Raj (Hrithik again), who looks remarkably like our dead hero. The two return to India only to have the villains assume that Raj is Rohit.
