Burger Sandwich

2 burgers
4 tsp butter
½ cup cabbage (shredded)
1 tomato (sliced)
1 onion (sliced)
2 tsp coriander leaves (chopped)
½ cucumber (sliced)
2 tsp mayonnaise
Salt and pepper

Cut burgers into two slices.
Apply butter on both slices and roast on a hot griddle they are slightly crisp.
On top of the lower slice, place a little shredded cabbage, an onion slice, a tomato slice and a cucumber slice alternately. Sprinkle salt and pepper and top with mayonnaise. Cover with the upper slice and serve with ketchup.

Banana Chips

4 large unripe bananas
Oil for frying
Salt and chilly powder to taste

Peel the skin of the bananas. Leave in water for some time. Then remove and cut into very thin wafer-like rounds.
Heat the oil to smoking point, put in a handful of the slices and fry, stirring all the while. When golden and crisp, remove from oil and drain in a colander.
When all the chips are ready, sprinkle some salt and chilly powder.
