 Here’s to my parents
Here's to the couple
So gorgeous, so rare.
Two angels from Heaven
Under God's loving care.
The joy of togetherness,
They nurture, they share.
No distance can tarnish
The love that they bear.
The lives that they lead,
The pains that they take.
What love it must need,
For this family, to make!
How fortunate that I can share
Such a wonderful bond
With this 'couple' — my parents
Of whom I'm so fond.
Therefore I shall praise and glorify
God, for his mercy and blessings divine.
“Lord, how little and unworthy am I
Of parents as lovely as mine!”
“Thank you, Lord, for this wonderful creation
Matrimony of man and wife.
For today, I can look upto them in admiration
Treasures of my life!”

Life has become a struggle
 Amidst the high ocean tide
To help myself survive
I have to other's fight
Lead on with the motto
“Strength be thy might”
Will power should be strong and
Alertness be very tight
Allow not a single finger towards you!
Honest, simply humble and be true
Shine and touch the skies height!
But for all this I have to make
My decisions right
God, be my guide
