In just a few moments each day, you can become aware of what’s happening in your world. Take a few minutes to look over the newspaper headlines. You don’t have to read every word of every line in the newspaper to know what’s in it. Scan the headlines. Read the first few sentences of each paragraph. Watch TV news programmes or check out a news website. It really doesn’t take much effort to be “in the know”.
